Primary Role

The Conference & Events Associate will assist the VP of Events and other events team members in the organization and execution of high-quality events and conferences that align with SHOOK Research's mission. Responsibilities include involvement in all aspects of event planning, coordinating with vendors, adhering to budgets, and ensuring events run seamlessly. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional attendee experiences.

Experience and Competencies

• Excellent Communication skills, including written and verbal communication, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in event or conference planning
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
• Perform research-related tasks
