About SHOOK Research
SHOOK Research is the industry standard for financial advisor quality and integrity — and the only independent research organization in the world conducting rigorous, in-person due diligence on financial advisors at scale. We are the organization behind the annual rankings of Top Wealth Advisors, Teams, Women Advisors, Next Gen Advisors, RIAs, and Financial Security Professionals, published in partnership with Forbes.
Our clients are asset managers — the firms whose products sit on the shelves of the advisors we evaluate. They partner with SHOOK to gain access to our research, our rankings, and our curated advisor network. Our work sits at the intersection of finance, research, and media, and it matters.
About the Role
As a Client Services & Sales Support Associate, you will be the operational backbone that keeps SHOOK’s asset manager relationships running smoothly. You’ll work directly with our asset manager clients to deliver on the contracts they’ve signed, ensure every commitment is fulfilled on time, and serve as a reliable, responsive point of contact they can count on.
A significant part of this role is event logistics. SHOOK runs national events that bring together top financial advisors and asset manager partners, and you’ll be in the thick of it — managing the logistics, coordinating details, and making sure every event runs without a hitch. You’ll attend these events yourself, representing SHOOK on-site and ensuring clients experience exactly what they signed up for.
Internally, you’ll partner closely with both the sales team and the events team — serving as a key liaison between them and our asset manager clients, keeping everyone aligned and informed. This is a role that rewards people who are organized, communicative, and genuinely invested in doing good work. You’ll have real visibility into how SHOOK grows — and real room to grow with it.

Why SHOOK Research
You’ll be in the room.
From your first year, you’ll attend marquee national events like TAS in Las Vegas — working alongside top asset managers and financial advisors at the kind of gatherings most people in financial services don’t access until much later in their careers. This isn’t a back-office role.
Your work shapes real relationships.
The asset managers you support are some of the most influential firms in the industry. The contracts you fulfill aren’t administrative tasks — they’re how SHOOK delivers value to clients who depend on us. You’ll matter here.
You’ll learn the wealth management industry from the inside.
Few entry-level roles give you this kind of exposure to asset managers, financial advisors, and firm-level dynamics all at once. You’ll build a foundation that’s hard to get anywhere else.
Room to grow.
SHOOK is expanding across research, partnerships, and events. People who do good work get more responsibility. This is a place where your career can move fast if you’re ready to earn it.
